Join Shelter House and Bailey's Community Center for an evening of talent to increase awareness of Homelessness and Hunger in our Community.
The Show Up to Stop Hunger talent showcase is a way to bring the community together in order to increase the awareness of childhood hunger and homelessness in Fairfax County.
We will be collecting food donations throughout the months of October and November and distributing the food to organizations in the area serving homeless and low-income families. You can drop off food donations at Bailey's Community Center, James Lee Community Center, Patrick Henry Family Shelter or Food for Others until November 15th.
We are in need of talented dancers, musicians, singers, poets, artists, comedians, and magicians. Must be between ages 5-25 years of age. Entry fee is a nonperishable canned good OR a small donation to help purchase food.
